IT Engineer
Description
Location: Chennai - Guindy (On-Site)
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
· Response and Resolution of tickets as per SLA.
· Conduct Remote troubleshooting.
· Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals.
· Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking.
· Provide On-Site Support to Network Team.
· Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
· Ensuring that all processes at the service desk are thoroughly documented, consistently audited.
· Hardware and Software Inventory management.
· Vendor Management, coordinating with various OEMs.
· Installation of Windows OS, Apple MAC OS.
· Manage installations, upgrades, and configurations of hardware and software.
· Problem Diagnosis and Resolution.
· Monitor and Manage endpoints security compliance.
· Availability on weekends if required.
Requirements and skills:
· 2-3 years’ experience as a Desktop Support Engineer.
· Experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis.
· Experience on Windows OS, Apple IOS.
· Knowledge on IT Systems Patch management, monitoring, and deployment.
· Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
· Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners.
· Good to have knowledge on MDM Tools.
· Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
· Good written and verbal communication.
Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
